...It's Shedding Light on Murder, a new mystery by Patricia Driscoll, nicely set in Barnstable Village, close to the stately courthouse and smacking of a lot of local places we're familiar with... This genial"townie" plot is written with a sure hand for natural-sounding dialog...We're introduced to people we can relate to...The snappy plot moves along with a minimum of side-stepping, making this a warm winter read...Grab a cup of cocoa and settle in.

A warm glow for readers. Lamps of all shapes and sizes add color add shine to Patricia Driscoll's second Grace Tolliver mystery novel, 'Murder in a Different Light.' Driscoll's first book, 'Shedding Light on Murder' (2012) nicely introduced the many characters, setting the stage for what..."cozy readers" may hope is a long series run for Grace and her crew of friends.
